Come join in the Memorial Day celebrations in downtown Hastings. Parade is along Main Street and Warburton Avenue. Be sure to get there early to enjoy a bite in one of the many village restaurants. My personal favorite is Sakura Garden at 531 Warburton Ave!

Sunday May 28 - Tarrytown
Tarrytown Memorial Day Parade
Take a trip to Tarrytown Main Street to marvel at the parade and then grab a bite. Tarrytown, N.Y is described as “A Quiet and Idyllic Place With Notable Diversity” and likewise, it has a number of fantastic and diverse restaurants from casual dining to Michelin restaurants. Make a day of it this Memorial Day!

Be a patriot for the day and cheer on various organizations at the parade from Church Street (between Hamilton Avenue and Main Street) to the Rural Cemetery on North Broadway. This annual commemorative ceremony takes place in the cemetery at the parade’s end and the event is held rain or shine!

Valhalla Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony – Valhalla
Join the Valhalla Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in ceremony of veterans and members of the military. Open house to follow with hot dogs, ice cream and refreshments.
Parade step off begins at 9.30 am on Westlake Drive, behind Valhalla Methodist Church and proceeds South on Columbus Avenue. Ceremony starts at 10:00 am at the Village Green Gazebo.

Starting at Mamaroneck Avenue School the parade heads down Mamaroneck Avenue into the village. Get there in plenty of time to enjoy Harbor Island Park Beach before the parade! Mamaroneck is a bustling downtown full of eclectic restaurants, so be sure to make a dinner reservation to truly maximize your visit. My personal favorite is Zenzo Sushi! Be sure to check it out!
